The 11th Edition of Rich States, Poor States: ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index shows pro-growth trends across the nation for 2018.
This Index ranks New Jersey as having one the worst economic performances , 49th out of 50 and one the worst economic outlooks of any state, ranked 46 out of 50.
By contrast Tennessee is ranked 12th in economic outlook and 10th in economic performance.
